Born and raised in the Lowcountry, I know there’s nowhere else in the world for me. Growing up in Allendale, I have been surrounded by agriculture from a young age but I didn’t discover my passion for animal production until I was a freshman at Clemson (go Tigers!). Since that day, I have known that this is the job for me! I pursued a veterinary degree with Food Animal concentration from University of Georgia (go Dawgs!). After practicing in North Carolina in mixed animal medicine for a year, I returned to UGA to pursue further education through a Master’s degree in Food Animal Medicine with specialized coursework in herd health and production economics. As I finish this additional training, I plan to start taking on clients part-time and transition to full time practice after my graduation in December. I have the most wonderful husband (and late night vet tech) Sam, and 3 perfect Labs, Sarsaparilla, Stetson, and Sturgill (who are all so excited to become vet truck dogs). I am so excited to have the opportunity to serve this community that I love so much and show Sam just what makes South Carolina so special!
